For the fourth Ventre de Biche album, Luca, beside many influences draw the sharpen lines of his influences : noir novels and screwed up destinies, the love of punchline rap since school and the magnificent french Soundtracks from the 70s by Vanier or De Roubaix.
These 15 tracks illustrating what could be the serial of an enlighted looser.
Inspired by detective stories on french 00's TV, the album comes with a 6 épisode mini-serial to be released as a suspensfull soap.

Chez Teenage Menopause, on aime les longues collaborations. Les amitiés qui produisent des résultats surprenants, des parcours inattendus : de ceux qui décloisonnent et qui emmènent les protagonistes loin de leur zone de confort.
Justement, en termes de zone, Luca s’y connait.
A vec Ventre de Biche, il la chante et l’illustre depuis quelques temps maintenant, et après trois albums ensemble, il était important de lui offrir un beau remerciement, à la zone.
Et quoi de mieux qu’une belle tranche de vie (de merde) ?

Ce sera avec un feuilleton, en 6 épisodes, que cet album sera illustré !
Mais voilà, les morceaux de Ventre de Biche, sont déjà de véritables scénettes et si Tati mettait en lumière la modernité trop vite arrivée, alors ici, on inviterait plutôt Jean Patrick Manchette ou André Héléna à déjeuner sur la toile cirée.
Ceux-là faisaient les éloges des loosers magnifiques, des choix et des non-choix, qui mènent inéluctablement vers le mur au bout du tunnel. Ce mur qui se rapproche et ne dévoile que l’impasse.
Luca produit et écrit mieux : plus précis, affuté et acerbe, il place entre ses instrus plus lourdes et actuelles, des interludes ambient dans lesquels on perd sa trace. Cet album louvoie alors entre les codes.
Luca y assume et exprime la genèse de son univers : le roman noir et cet amour de la punchline, le rap écouté depuis toujours et les BO françaises 70s de Vanier et de Roubaix comme influence majeure.
Alors pour illustrer tout ceci et mettre des images sur ces ambiances si figuratives, Luca s’est entouré de deux amis de cette période Strasbourgeoise : Tom Lebaron-Khérif & Elliot Dadat. Avec 3 acteurs « à ganache », ils ont réalisé un feuilleton rappelant les riches heures de la télé-détective. Quittant le simple clip, on oscille ici entre le ténébreux Christophe Hondelatte et l’archive INA d’un mauvais JT pour offrir une joyeuse tranche de vie, de merde.
